Nokia Officially Announces Their Return To Mobile
Ever since Nokia sold off their mobile division to Microsoft, many have been wondering if the Finnish company would see a return to mobile. So far for the most part, we've seen Nokia explore other technologies, like with the launch of the Nokia OZO virtual reality camera, but wonder no more because Nokia has announced their triumphant return.
However we should point out that Nokia's return will not be by the company themselves, but rather under a new agreement in which Nokia will be granting a company called HMD an exclusive global license to create Nokia-branded mobile devices. In a way you could think of this deal as being similar to Google's Nexus handsets, in which Google grants certain OEMs the right to create phones under the Nexus branding.
